Ashwagandha BIO Churna

Powder of ashwagandha, which is one of the most valuable herbs in Ayurveda.

Ashwagandha is an evergreen shrub that grows up to 1.5 meters. You can recognise it by its fleshy roots, simple green oval leaves and round orange-red berries. In the Ayurvedic diet, the most commonly used root contains the most active ingredients.

In Ayurveda, ashwagandha is considered a "Rasayana". It has adaptogenic properties, which means that it adapts fully to the body. It is also known as Indian ginseng or winter cherry.

Cosmeda Churna contains powder from the root of ashwagandha, which is finely ground below 40°C and sourced from organic areas in India and Sri Lanka.

Use
