Granola are baked flakes with various additives like dried fruits, nuts, seeds, spices, chocolate and so on. Sweetener and fat are added to the dry mixture of ingredients as needed, and the resulting mixture is then baked to combine the ingredients into crunchy lumps. Common oatmeal is often substituted with other cereals such as quinoa, buckwheat flakes, amaranth, etc.

Smart Organic's organic granola from the Bettr range is organic and gluten-free as it is made from gluten-free oatmeal. The star among the ingredients is various fruits- from cherries, raspberries, strawberries to apricots and coconut chips. Almonds and various seeds like sesame, flax, sunflower and pumpkin seeds provide extra crunch.
