Ginkgo(Ginkgo biloba) is one of the oldest tree species in the world, which is why some call it a living fossil. It belongs to the ginkgo family and is recognizable by its characteristic fan-shaped leaves.

Ginkgo biloba is native to Asia, where its name literally translates from Japanese to mean silver apricot. It has been used in Chinese tradition for more than 5,000 years and is becoming increasingly popular in Europe as well, as it is an extremely effective plant with many beneficial properties:
