Pansy(Passiflora incarnata) or maracuja is a fast-growing climbing plant with large flowers and exotic fruits. It is native to the Americas. Today it thrives in Europe, especially in coastal areas where the climate is more favourable for its growth.

It is also known by the names martyr and sufferer, which come from the Latin name passiflora, where passio means suffering and flora is a flower.

Bioherba brand tincture is made from maracuja soaked in glycerin, which gives it a sweet taste. Glycerin is a colourless, odourless liquid, slightly thicker than water.

The great advantage of passion fruit tincture is that the body absorbs the liquid faster and makes better use of it, while also better preserving the important substances it contains when the tincture is prepared.

The daily dose of the tincture is equivalent to 750 mg of passionflower.

Recommended Daily Dose: 25 drops (1 ml) in 100 ml of water 3 times a day 15 minutes before meals.
