Muira puama (Ptychopetalum olacoides) is a tree native to the humid forests of the Amazon. Because of its characteristic properties and beneficial effects, the locals called it marapuama, which translates to "tree of potency".

Bioherba Tincture is made from muira puama soaked in glycerin, which gives it a sweet taste. Glycerin is a colorless, odorless liquid, slightly thicker than water.

A daily dose of the tincture is equivalent to 900 mg of muira puama.
