Nicotinamide NADH - vitamin B3
Description
NADH or KOENZYME 1 - the most important coenzyme in our body
NADH is the abbreviated name for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide hydride or coenzyme 1, which is involved in most biological processes. It is a cofactor for more than 1,000 enzymes in the body and is required for many bodily functions.
NADH consists of nicotinamide(also known as niacin or vitamin B3) and ADP(adenine diphosphate). Nicotinamide is the biologically active form of vitamin B3, which is one of the most important B-complex vitamins.
Vitamin B3 contributes to:
- release of energy during metabolism,
- the functioning of the nervous system,
- normal mental functioning,
- maintaining healthy mucous membranes,
- maintaining healthy skin,
- reduce fatigue and exhaustion
Because of its unique properties and biological form, NADH is very sensitive to light and oxygen. Therefore, in Sanct Bernhard's NADH supplement, specially stabilized NADH is used to maintain potency. Each capsule contains 20 mg of stable NADH, which is a sufficient amount for the recommended daily intake.
The product is a dietary supplement.
