Non-adherent silver-containing barrier dressing for the treatment of atraumatic wounds
Atrauman® Ag is a non-adherent silver-containing barrier dressing for the treatment of atraumatic wounds.
Atrauman® Ag is a non-adherent contact wound dressing suitable for the treatment of chronic wounds such as shin ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers and decubitus ulcers. It is also suitable for the treatment of acute burns up to grade 2. Atrauman Ag cover is suitable for the treatment of human skin by healthcare professionals.

Indications:
Atrauman® Ag is suitable for the treatment of shin ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers and pressure ulcers, as well as acute burns up to grade 2. Atrauman Ag should be combined with an appropriate secondary cover (either an absorbent or superabsorbent cover, foam cover or gauze - for example Zetuvit Plus) in accordance with the instructions for use.

Contraindications:
Do not use Atrauman Ag in patients who may be allergic to any of the ingredients. Do not use on dry wounds.

Atrauman Ag can be cut as needed. For severely exuding wounds, fold the cover in quarters and cut a hole in the center to ensure exudate drainage. Atrauman Ag may be left on the wound for up to 7 days. It combines well with absorbent materials (PermaFoam, Zetuvit, Sterilux ES, Medicomp). Fixation dressings (Peha-crepp, Peha-haft) are recommended for secondary cover fixation.

Atrauman Ag is particularly suitable for infected wounds, deep wounds (in combination with appropriate secondary cover), all types of superficial wounds and as protection against infection and pathogen penetration into the wound.
