Empty capsules 00 - durable, vegan

Transparent empty capsules made of vegan material - resistant to stomach acid.

The empty capsules are made from HPMC and are therefore suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

RESISTANT CAPSULES: capsules are resistant to acidic environments (pH 0-4). They dissolve in the small intestine only when the pH reaches a relatively neutral value of 6-8. Which is great news if you want the nutrients you pump into them to reach the small intestine intact, where they can be absorbed. The name "gradual release capsules or DR capsules (Delayed Release) has been coined for such capsules.

In the package, the halves are slightly attached, allowing for easy opening before the first filling, and the notch between the two halves of the capsule allows for a quick, firm and stable connection. The capsule halves must be manually separated before filling.

The size of the capsules depends on how much content you can fill them with, so adjust your selection accordingly. Be careful if you are already using a capsule filler, as the size of the capsule filler and the size of the empty capsules must match.

You can use a Size 00 > capsule filler to assist with filling. Pay attention to the size label - you can only use a size 00 capsule filler for size 00 capsules!

Ingredients

Ingredients: hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (HPMC), gellan.

Size 00:length 23mm, diameter 7mm; can be filled to 400-800mg capacity, depending on filler. Weight of 1 capsule: 115-120 mg.

Contents: 200 pieces in food-safe, resealable (zipper) packaging.
