Sanitary pads are used under sick, incontinent patients as:

additional bed protection for patients with decubitus, ulcerations or eczematous changes requiring the application of ointments and solutions.
Dosage and method of use :
The pad is unfolded on the bed and placed under the patient so that it can perform its function (either as a supplement to other absorbent devices under incontinent patients or as additional bed protection). If it ceases to fulfil its function it should be replaced with a new one. It is replaced as needed.
